my last day of work.yesterday was my official last dae at work! but my intention to leave on the dot whopping out the office door, was instead delayed because i stayed back to complete my handover to the new gal. my plan was initially to zoom out of the office door on the dot and take the company transport back to amk and spend the evening slacking infront of the tv at home, but instead i was at the office collating stuff till 7.30pm. sobs. but i know that it'll more or less help her, because i can understand how lost one can get as when i first joined i didnt have any proper procedures for me to know and/or follow.
my boss treated the dept to lunch dat day, at this thai buffet restaurant in centrepoint. its becoming one of my fav place for thai food! other than thai express, dat is. hurhurs.
that meal was a farewell cum welcome cum dept lunch!farewell for me, welcome to the new gal. as we've been there before for a team building lunch on a previous occasion, we knew what was nice and definitely needs to go on to our plates. heh.
usuals for me! since it was help-yourself-to-it meal, i grabbed heaps of tom yam soup, chicken satay, kang kong, koropok, burbur chacha, red ruby, kuehs, goreng pisang, i can just go on forever lahs! *drools*
at the end of the day, my boss gave me this cookbook (because she somehow know that i like spicy and thai food). she was thinking that i can bring it over to aussie to cook. haha.
all the food look so nice can! if only i got time to try them out!

twick a tweat?with all the scary costumes and stories and spooky pumpkin jack-o-lanterns, halloween has nvr, and i dun tink it will ever be, an occasion that i will ever participate in..
alright alright, cuz i'm mousely-timid can?!
i rem the halloween event at far east plaza during the occasion last yr, where there were pple dressed up in creepy costumes of scary movies characters. frankenstein, zhen zi, and other equally scary characters whose names i dont know, were 'roaming' ard the basement area of the shopping mall in broad daylight that day, posing for shots with or for amused passer-bys..
and, scaring the hell out of alot of pple ard.
of course, that includes yours truely..i was desperately trying to avoid bumping into any of the characters, but they were roving almost everywhere! when i turned at a corner of one of the shops to 'escape' for a moment and go to the toilet, the frightening zhen zi has rounded the other corner and was at the opposite of me.
obviously, i just zoomed off to the furthest end possible.
and whoever who was there wif me, just stood there laughing.
very funny.
ha.ha.
so unless halloween characters can get as cute as tis little one over here, you can be sure that i will never,
ever be celebrating the occasion.

a good bowl of dessert and a new surprised stuffie delights me :)tada!
tis little cutie is finally mine!!!yays!
pardon e (bleh) pic, but after all the 'zhu jiao' is the little halloween chipmunk!
dear and me got it on the third try!
dat means, onli $3 spent on the arcade machine! :) :) :)
u noe how supposedly difficult it is to get the 'weak' two claws of the machine to grasp firmly on a toy ya..
but a determined us was set on saving the chipmunk, and i even told him dat even if it takes $10 we muz get e little one outta there!haha.
luckily (i tink i can almost hear dear's silent sigh of relief) we managed to catch it on the third try, when the head of the chipmunk rested well on e claws dat it was kept balanced all e way to the drop hole..
and bingo! yays we got him!
we were holding our breaths and hoping dat it would not wobble and drop halfway so we forgot to take a shot of dat moment..dangs.
dear shld be more than me glad we managed to get it, if not i'll still be sticking my nose at e toy machine unwilling to leave e nxt time we visit the same arcade..haha.
so! my nxt target is dale, the lighter coloured chipmunk (if dey do haf it).heh.
and my fav bubble tea has my horoscope as e cover of my cup on e same dae!hoho.
dessert was eaten wif hannah banana last sat, when i met her for dinner at cine.
we took a short walk to taka after that, and realised that we shldnt haf ate, bcuz
THERE WAS A FOOD FARE GOING ON AT THE BASEMENT LEVEL OPEN AREA!ahhhhh!!! yes, u can imagine how we felt when we were saw the fair going on.
so many yummy food, so many yummy desserts, so many yummy snacks; but we were (almost) full to the brim of our tummies..
hence, we finally decided to settle for tis.
choco mashmallow and cookies&cream ice-cream!okie, the choco mashmallow colour isnt suppose to be like dat, its actualli darker den it seems..
i dunno y our hp cameras both captured it with a lighter, not-so-appetizing colour..hurhur.
and the cookies&cream flavour wasnt as creamy as i tot it wld be..i like. :)
well, but e ice-cream satisfied our taste buds totally, although we wished we cld fill our tummies more wif laksa, sweet potato balls and interestingly flavoured

tsk, wanted to take pic wif hannah, but dat banana sae she juz cut her hair look super short dun wanna take..haha.

a yummy dinner plus a new stuffie leaves me beaming.

miss clarity cafe on fri..
i had to intro the food there to dear, cuz when i ate it wif zq n the gals at purvis st a yr or two back, it was so yummy i kept wanting to go back there again.hehe.
plus, the place looks so pinky and girlie, i like. :)
so when i spotted the thomson outlet while on the bus a few months back, i decided to bring him there since its nearer to my house..hee.
it was quite late at night for dinner time, but the place was still quite packed wif the fri crowd..
but service was fast and we got our food not long after..

its been a week of ups and downs.. and missing mr lazi bum bum..
but tanks to yilin, who accompanied me most of the weekdays, made my week slightly better.. =]
and thankfully, its sat once again..which means is dear's book out dae! yays.
its a simple lazi sat..juz lazing ard watching tv and munching..but i like! *beams*
and we had two little buddies to keep us company as well!
